For credit card transactions, Stripe & PayPal charge 2.2-2.9% + $0.30.
For ACH/Direct Bank Transfer transactions, Stripe charges 0.8%, with a cap of $5.

Can donors cover the platform fee?
Yes. Donately lets you offer donors the option to cover the platform fee at checkout—either as a percentage or a set dollar amount. You control the settings, the messaging, and it’s always transparent. Some organizations choose to require it, but Donately never will.
